On a very cold and frosty sunday morning, the Fathers of the U13's took on a U13's A and B team who were determined to seek revenge on certain dad's. The game was played in the spirit of the day, touch rugby due to the ground conditions, and lots of biting and kicking from the Dad's side, from a knock on that the ref didnt see caoch Gary Bates ran the whole field to score, more tries came from Tom Foster with another display of speed, Neil Grayson (the whippet) and another coach Mark Blair, but to be fair to the lads they never gave up and in the second half had the Dad's pinned into their own half for all the game, and had to resort to kicking to get out of their 22, the game was officiated by Chris Earl and he had dish out 2 yellow cards to two Dad's that didnt respect his style of refeering, the lads came back with 3 well worked and even more well deserved tries to make the score lines a little more respectable.
To be honest the honours were even as the lads gave the Dad's a good punching in the tunnel at the end!!!
